It's around end of summer, and the people of this town are experiencing what we'll call "Silent Insanity". This town could be anywhere; it could be this one. Each and every person is troubled with a sense of impending doom. They walk around; just knowing that something bad is coming. They all know it's there, and they know it won’t go away. No one will talk about it because they don’t want to seem crazy to the next person. They all try to dismiss it as stomach cramps, and pretend it's not there, as though if they don’t think about it, it will disappear. But the truth is, it doesn't disappear. In fact, it slowly gets worse in the minds of the people. It is slowly driving them mad, and they all are locked up in their own heads, falling into their separate holes, not even thinking for a second that maybe someone else is experiencing this unseen demise too. People are becoming violently ill, the drug and alcohol use increases. Slowly, the whole town begins to retreat into their own heads. They become unaware of the world around them, or they just don't care anymore. They just worry about these demons inside of them, haunting them, warning them of their coming doom.
